Placement Overview
The Polytechnic runs full fledged placement cell to assist the students to gain employment. Reputed MNC's visit the polytechnic during the end of even semesters for campus selection.
Procedure for Companies Selection:-
1. Companies prefer 60% and above aggregate marks
2. Some companies also prefer age limit and 1st class marks with first attempt
3. Some companies do not stress on cut-off percentage
Steps in Interview process:-
Step 1: Brief profile of the organization, organization culture and incumbents job profile
Step 2: Aptitude test –Analytical and logical reasoning and verbal ability test. Based on a cut off in the aptitude test performance the students will be asked to appear for the next round. Those less than the cut off will be asked to leave the hall.
Step 3: group discussions. A topic is given to a group of 6-8 candidates and they are asked to participate in the group discussion on the given topic.
Step 4: Technical round will be held and the students will be tested for their technical skills. The HR personnel will also have an interview in which the family background, interest ofthe candidate to join the company etc will also be included in this round.
Step 5: They announce the results or inform the placement cell about the results at a later date with offer letters.
Placement training program:
Our college is conducting placement training program for final year students, which will help them in aptitude tests and competitive interviews.
